The Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation of Argentina, Federico Sturzenegger, issued a message in which he asked how to lower taxes and the answer was blunt. According to the Argentine News Agency, the official stated that “the State had become oversized” and therefore provided an explanation for the political decision that the government of Javier Milei is making to address the situation. “How do you lower taxes? By lowering spending!”, the minister Sturzenegger wrote.
