The meeting took place following the company's recent announcement about signing a definitive agreement to acquire Prisma Medios de Pago and Newpay in Argentina, currently owned by Advent International. Other participants in the dialogue included the Regional Director of Government Relations, Mauro Williams; the Regional Director of Finance, Jorge Acosta; and the President of the Central Bank, Santiago Bausili. The primary objectives of the Government-Visa agreement are to strengthen the country's digital payments infrastructure, incorporate advanced technologies such as tokenization and biometric authentication, and accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions for consumers and businesses.
