Buenos Aires, February 16 (NA) - The 39th edition of the Congress of the Ibero-American Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (AIGLP), the sector's most relevant event in Latin America, will take place from March 24 to 26, 2026, at the Hilton Hotel in Buenos Aires. According to the Argentine News Agency, the congress is recognized as the main meeting point for the LPG industry in the region. The Congress will bring together about 2,000 participants from more than 20 countries, including businesspeople, government authorities, technicians, specialists, and leaders in the energy sector. During the three days, the challenges and opportunities of the LPG market will be debated, with a special focus on technical-operational, regulatory, and commercial aspects, as well as analyzing trends, technological innovation, and the strategic role of LPG in the energy transition. The exhibition will feature the participation of more than 70 exhibitors, including equipment manufacturers, technology providers, and specialized service providers, consolidating the event as a key platform for commercial and technological exchange. The holding of the AIGLP Congress is a milestone for the national energy sector, as the last event in Argentina was in 2017, once again positioning the country as a relevant actor in the regional LPG market and strengthening institutional and commercial ties with the main players in the Ibero-American industry. It is worth noting that the Chamber of Argentine LPG Companies (CEGLA) signed a collaboration agreement in November with leading chambers from Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru, which will allow the sharing of technical, statistical, regulatory, and best practice information, and sealed an unprecedented alliance between the main guild associations of the Latin American LPG sector. With this alliance, the signatory guilds sent a clear message: Latin America is ready to build a common energy agenda, where LPG is consolidated as an essential tool to expand access to modern, clean, and safe energy. In parallel with the Congress, the LPG Fair will also be held, a strategic space for business generation and corporate networking.
