Buenos Aires, Feb 13 (NA) – The Banking Association union agreed to a 2.9% salary increase in January, and the minimum monthly income for sector employees will exceed $2,125,000, while the bonus for Banker's Day was set at $1,894,425. 'This adjustment will apply to all monthly gross, normal, customary, and total, remunerative and non-remunerative salaries, including conventional and non-conventional add-ons, based on December 2025 salaries,' the union informed in a statement accessed by the Argentine News Agency. According to the agreement, for February, 'the same mechanism and scope stipulated in previous salary agreements will continue, resuming collective bargaining in the second half of March 2026'. In this context, the union led by Sergio Palazzo highlighted that what was signed ensures that bank workers 'continue to safeguard the purchasing power of their salaries'.
