Argentina Extends Monotributo Recategorization Deadline

It should be recalled that recategorization in the monotax system is open until February 5, as verified by the Argentine News Agency. The new scales for the Income Tax have been in effect since January 1. If December salaries have already been settled, companies will have to compensate for the excess deducted next month. The Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) will update in the coming hours the parameters and scales for self-employed and dependent workers, registered in the monotributo and Income Tax. After the 2.8% inflation for December became known, ARCA must adjust the annual values.
