Her father intervened, telling her she couldn't pass up the opportunity. Her family encouraged her to make her own decisions and not put her life on hold for the relationship. Poggio clarified she was not worried about exposure or the project's dynamics, only her romantic situation. The idea for the café-nursery came from her parents, who wanted to create their own project and looked for someone to run the café. Poggio advised her mother against going into business with friends. In parallel, Poggio was considering investing because buying property to rent out didn't seem profitable enough. Her parents proposed she invest directly in the family project. They analyzed the numbers, evaluated how the investment would be recouped, and decided to move forward. Poggio highlighted the positive outcome, noting that all decisions are made collectively and profits stay within the family. 'It was the best we could do because all decisions are made as a family, and all the profit stays in the family,' she explained.
