Buenos Aires, Jan 7 (NA) – The Secretariat of Finance awarded a total of $3.417 trillion in the debt tender. It received offers for a total of $3.678 trillion in the operation with subscription in kind. This meant an acceptance of 64.19% on the total in circulation, according to the Argentine News Agency. With this operation, a mechanism was put in place to facilitate the reinvestment by investors in dollar-linked instruments. The Secretariat of Finance stated that this eliminated the exchange rate fixing risk prior to regular tenders.
