The Tax Collection and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) reported the seizure of 1,480 bras made of synthetic textile material that lacked documentation proving their legal entry into the country and the corresponding tax instruments. According to a notice published in the Official Gazette, the merchandise was seized during a control procedure carried out by personnel from the National Gendarmerie, belonging to Squadron 10 “Lomas de Zamora”. The operation led to a complaint for a presumed violation of Articles 986, 987 and corresponding provisions of the Customs Code (Law No. 22,415), learned the Noticias Argentinas agency. However, on February 10, 2025, the proceedings were archived under the terms of General Instruction No. 2/23 of the former AFIP, by means of Resolution No. RESOL-2025-17-E-AFIP-DVSEC2#SDGTLA. As the owner of the seized merchandise—1,480 bras with the inscription “Rosa y My Bra”—could not be identified, Customs ordered the announcement of its existence and legal status in accordance with Section V, Title II of the Customs Code. In this framework, it was ordered to publish the edict for three days in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic, as established in Article 417 of the current regulation. The proceeding is handled at Division Secretariat No. 2 of the Department of Customs Legal Procedures, located at Azopardo 350, ground floor, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
