The Airport Security Police (PSA) has simplified control requirements for commercial aviation and eliminated the General Declaration Form for domestic flights, as published today in the Official Gazette.
Through Dispositions 1301/2025 and 1349/2025, signed by National Director Alfredo HernĂ¡n Gallardo, previous regulations on the control of non-regular and general aviation were repealed, and a new airport security regulation was approved.
The main modification establishes that pilots of commercial airline aircraft and their crews are exempt from managing a permanent personal airport security permit.
To circulate in restricted security areas, these crew members will only need to present their national identity document or passport and a credential issued by the company, always within the framework of their flight plans.
In the case of international flights, the requirement of the General Declaration of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) remains in force.
The regulation was reevaluated by technical areas, which determined the need for operational simplification by discontinuing the General Declaration Form for domestic or national-level flights.
This measure is framed within the Cooperation and Technical Assistance Agreement signed between the PSA and the National Civil Aviation Administration on March 26, 2025, whereby both bodies committed to promoting coordinated work.
The provisions will come into force upon their publication.
