Argentine Commerce Workers to Receive Year-End Bonus

Buenos Aires, December 5 (NA) – The Argentine Federation of Commerce and Services Employees (Faecys) has reached an agreement with the country's major supermarket chains for the payment of an extraordinary year-end bonus of 170,000 pesos for all sector workers. The agreement, pushed by Faecys General Secretary Armando Cavalieri, was sealed with the representatives of companies like COTO, Carrefour, Cencosud, Chango Más and Día %, among other retail chains, as reported by the Argentine News Agency. According to the Federation, the extraordinary payment seeks to "accompany the difficult situation that we merchants face on the eve of Christmas and New Year". Faecys highlighted that the achievement of this bonus was the result of "a great effort and negotiations by both parties", in line with the commitment to maintain the purchasing power of commerce employees.
