Aerolíneas Argentinas has added a new aircraft to its fleet, which now consists of 83 aircraft for both domestic, regional, and intercontinental flights. The new aircraft is a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with registration LV-KNR, which arrived in the country on Thursday evening. This is the fifteenth aircraft of this model to be integrated into the fleet, as reported by the National News Agency from the flag carrier airline. In the coming days, the aircraft will undergo test flights and mandatory checks prior to its operational certification, with the goal of being available for the high summer season. "Once in service, it will serve domestic and regional routes, contributing to improve efficiency and economic performance in the markets where it operates," the company stated. The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft stand out for their 170-seat configuration, state-of-the-art engines, advanced winglets, and modernized cockpit systems. Thanks to their aerodynamic design, they allow for a 40% reduction in noise footprint and 50% lower NOx emissions compared to the limits established by ICAO (CAEP/6).
