Buenos Aires, December 4 (NA) - The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) issued a new communication reminding the population sector of retirees and pensioners of the possibility to activate a right they have to simplify their lives regarding the collection and management of benefits and procedures. In it, as learned by the Argentine News Agency upon accessing the official communication from the social security body, which depends on the Ministry of Human Capital led by Sandra Pettovello, it recalls and explains how "retirees and pensioners can appoint an agent to process or receive their benefits." ANSES: the reason why a group will only receive their payment in the second half of the month. What does the ANSES communication state about the retiree's right to have an agent? Any person over 18 years of age can be an agent. However, it is recommended to verify that the data of the holder and their family group are registered and updated in my ANSES to later go with their ID and documentation that proves the relationship to the nearest ANSES office to their home. To collect their benefit, holders can also choose a national, provincial, or municipal public entity; mutual aid and social assistance institutions; lawyers or procurators with a power of attorney certified before a notary. ANSES, a body dependent on the Ministry of Human Capital, reminds that both retirees and pensioners can appoint an agent to process or receive their benefits or appoint a special representative for a specific period of time, if the holder is unable to move. In the case of people admitted to public or private establishments, such as hospitals, sanatoriums or nursing homes, they may opt for the director or administrator of the same. In the case of residents abroad, the power can be granted to a bank that has the option to make transfers abroad to collect a retirement or pension. Pensioner cohabitant: you must have the relationship accredited as a pensioner cohabitant. Bank: Power of Attorney (PS 6.4) signed and stamped by bank authority. Tutor/Shelter measure: original court sentence and copy where the appointment of the tutor as the legal representative of the minor appears. Curator/Support: original court sentence and copy where the appointment of the curator appears and in the same authorization is granted to collect retirements or pensions. Lawyer: valid credential. In this way, ANSES guarantees the right of millions of retirees and pensioners to access a trusted person to facilitate the collection of their benefits and to help them manage various procedures securely.
