Buenos Aires, December 4 (NA) – YPF has awarded DLS Archer the largest drilling services contract in Vaca Muerta to date. The five-year agreement involves seven state-of-the-art rigs and marks a milestone for the industry, according to the Argentine News Agency.

The contract covers the provision and operation of cutting-edge equipment and the integration of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) services. It also includes enhancements to current standards to boost efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.

The award aligns with DLS Archer's growth strategy, which was further strengthened in 2024 with the acquisition of ADA, a subsidiary of Air Drilling Associates Inc. This diversified the company's portfolio and solidified its leadership as a provider of integrated solutions for unconventional resources.

Gerardo Molinaro, VP of Land Drilling at DLS Archer, stated that signing the contract with YPF reaffirms the company's commitment to excellence and consolidates a strategic partnership that will continue to transform the industry.

Meanwhile, Archer's CEO, Dag Skindlo, noted that YPF's trust strengthens the company's local positioning and profitability, and he believes the sustained growth of the sector in Argentina will drive new opportunities in the short and medium term.

The alliance between DLS Archer and YPF is a decisive step towards a more competitive, innovative, and sustainable future for the Argentine energy sector.
