Buenos Aires, December 4 (NA) – A police officer was arrested accused of facilitating the escape of seven prisoners from the police station in the city of Bernardo de Irigoyen, Misiones province. According to information from local media accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the arrest was ordered by the Instructional Prosecutor's Office of San Pedro after the General Prosecutor's Office sent a special commission to deepen the investigative tasks. Mario O. was placed in a jurisdictional police station of Regional XII pending the definition of his legal future. Alejandro Damian Ramos, alias 'Dente'; Jorge Guillermo Ojeda; Emanuel Felipe Kraulich, alias 'Pirate'; Juan Jose Ferreira Alves; Dario Britez; Daniel Simons and Agustin Morais were recaptured by the authorities. The operation was coordinated by the command from the base established in Regional Unit XII, with the support of regional commands, investigative divisions, and tactical groups that intervened in different jurisdictions in the northern part of the province.
