Violent Clash Between UOCRA Factions in Berazategui

Juan Lagarto Olmedo, expelled from UOCRA 10 years ago, is trying to return to the union and has sent some of his people to carry out territorial work in Chaco. However, internal conflicts have arisen, as they confront each other over different businesses, trying to use the union as a cover to introduce their personnel into projects.

According to a UOCRA representative from the Chaco area, a fake job lottery has been attempted, something that the union categorically denies, asserting that it does not carry out such procedures. The clash between the groups has escalated to physical confrontations, such as the one that occurred in Berazategui, where stones were thrown, and a firearm was even displayed.

According to union sources, the dispute arises from two internal factions of UOCRA that do not have official recognition from the union. The fight took place in an attempt to sabotage an event where job positions for housing projects in Plátanos would be drawn. Despite the intervention of security forces, no arrests have been reported.

After the altercation, UOCRA issued a statement expressing its rejection of violence and disassociating itself from those involved. The incident left at least six injured, and information has been circulated about Juan Lagarto Olmedo, described as an evangelical pastor who recruited ex-convicts to use them as shock troops.
