
The Argentine national team confirmed the holding of a charity friendly match between the senior team and the under-20 team with the aim of raising funds to help those affected by the floods in Bahía Blanca. The match will take place this Saturday, March 22 at 5 p.m. at the Tomás Adolfo Ducó stadium, belonging to Huracán.
The Argentine Football Association announced the ticket prices, being $20,000 for the general admission and $30,000 for the grandstands. After the devastating floods that shook Bahía Blanca, causing the loss of more than 10 lives and serious material damage, several organizations expressed their support to raise funds.
In a press conference led by head coach Lionel Scaloni, along with Bahía Blanca players Lautaro Martínez and Germán Pezzella, the charity match was confirmed. The AFA reported that ticket sales will be conducted online starting Wednesday, March 19 from 12 p.m.
With a stadium capacity of 43,482 spectators, a significant amount of funds is expected to be raised to benefit the affected families in the southwest of Buenos Aires Province.
