The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, announced at a press conference that the Government will request all football clubs to issue a declaration of repudiation and the expulsion of fans involved in the incidents during a march at the Congress of the Nation. Bullrich highlighted the importance of taking drastic measures against those violent fans who participated in the riots.
At an awkward moment before the conference, Bullrich expressed her discomfort aloud regarding the space assigned to her on stage, commenting: "I am more uncomfortable than hell." This remark, picked up by open microphones, went viral on social media.
The minister, alongside Defense Minister Luis Petri, announced the dispatch of resources to Bahía Blanca following a storm that affected the city. Bullrich urged football clubs to expel and condemn the fans who caused disturbances, thus demonstrating the determination of the Argentine Government to combat violence at public events.
