Ministers Address Flood Relief in Bahía Blanca

The Ministers of Security, Patricia Bullrich, and Defense, Luis Petri, returned to Bahía Blanca to supervise the assistance efforts for those affected by a tragic storm. More than 600 members of federal security forces and military personnel are deployed in the city and nearby localities such as Ingeniero White and General Daniel Cerri.

The operation involves helicopters, tanker trucks, rescue boats, mobile hospitals, and medical resources, in a coordinated action among various agencies. Bullrich highlighted that they are addressing the most affected areas and listening to residents to respond to their needs and restore normalcy as soon as possible.

During her visit, Bullrich emphasized: "We came to Ingeniero White, listened to the neighbors, and fulfilled what they asked of us. We are here, working with effort and commitment." The presence of the ministers generated moments of tension last weekend when they were approached by residents who reproached them for the difficult situation caused by the flooding.

In response, Bullrich stated: "We returned because we know there is still a need, because every story hurts, and because no one in Bahía Blanca will be alone." Attention to the affected and coordination of aid in the area remain priorities for the authorities amid the emergency caused by the natural disaster.
