Today, the Justice of Bahía Blanca will carry out the reconstruction of the moment when the little sisters Pilar and Delfina Hecker, aged 1 and 5 respectively, disappeared during a storm and flooding on March 7 on the outskirts of the city. Prosecutor Marina Lara will lead this procedure together with parents, police, firefighters, investigators, and other professionals.
The reconstruction will take place in General Daniel Cerri and will involve the participation of the parents, experts from Conicet and the National Technological University, as well as various police sections. The goal is to create a mathematical model based on variables such as weather, topography, and movements to better understand what happened.
Prosecutor Lara mentioned that the reconstruction aims to recreate the moments when the current took away the girls and their family. It will be conducted at the scene of the incident with the participation of the protagonists and experts who will analyze testimonies to understand the movements of the water and objects at the time of the incident.
Since the start of the search, drones, helicopters, kayaks, divers, and foot patrols have been used, including a human cordon and devices such as a georadar. So far, no trace of the girls has been found. The file indicates that the family was trapped in their vehicle during the flooding on national route 3 near General Daniel Cerri.
Although a delivery truck driver offered them help, the force of the current took the girls away before they could get into the aid vehicle. While the truck and the driver's body were found, the sisters remain missing.
