Solidarity Action in Bahía Blanca After Floods

Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto, through donations, contributed to helping those affected by the floods in Bahía Blanca. Despite his participation from social media, his father Aníbal mentioned that Franco regretted not being able to be physically present in the city to provide his direct assistance.

Aníbal Colapinto expressed his solidarity in an interview with Antonio Llorente on Sin Corbata by Splendid AM990, emphasizing that he is just one among many who are trying to help the victims of the devastated city. Part of the pilot's family resides in Bahía Blanca, which motivated the initiation of a charitable collection in which efforts were combined to gather donations.

The charitable collection organized by the Colapinto family succeeded in gathering various donations that were delivered in Bahía Blanca last weekend. This initiative had the support of clubs, parishes, schools, and businesses that came together to help those affected by the floods. The quick and massive response from people who came to donate generated positive emotions, and in just three days, a truck was filled with the collected donations.

Aníbal Colapinto, describing the situation in Bahía Blanca, called it heartbreaking and detailed that the city was severely affected by the floods. Reflecting on the demonstrated solidarity, he mentioned that Argentines are world leaders in this type of humanitarian response.
