Action Plan to Mitigate Flooding in Bahía Blanca

The pharmaceutical laboratories associated with the Argentine Industrial Chamber of Pharmaceutical Laboratories (CILFA) have launched an action plan aimed at alleviating the effects of the flooding in Bahía Blanca, focusing on ensuring access to health in the affected area.

As part of this initiative, various actions will be carried out, such as compensating for stock in the affected pharmacies, donating medical equipment to local hospitals, and providing medications to the municipal Health Secretary. The main objective is to ensure that there is no shortage of medications in the city and that the population in emergency situations can be adequately cared for.

As part of this plan, CILFA will deliver ten hospital beds and two operating rooms to the Regional Penna Hospital, as well as a complete operating room for the Municipal Hospital. Additionally, a significant donation of medications will be made to cover the health needs of the local population.

In the words of a representative of the organization: "With this action, we aim to provide our support to the inhabitants of Bahía Blanca in this critical moment. We highlight the strength and responsiveness of the community in the face of this emergency situation."
