Mother in Bahía Blanca pleads for missing daughters

Marina Haag, the mother of the sisters who disappeared in Bahía Blanca during the storm, has made a heartbreaking plea for the appearance of her daughters on a special day as Pilar is celebrating her birthday.

"Today Pili is celebrating her 5th birthday, I do not lose faith that my daughters are being sheltered by someone who still hasn’t been able to communicate," expressed Marina with anguish.

The woman decided to speak about the situation despite not wanting to interact with the media, she preferred to use her social networks to continue the search for Delfina, 1 year old, and Pilar, 5.

The family was able to evacuate the area affected by the storm in the city, but during their journey they were caught by rising water. A driver of a delivery truck provided assistance, but unfortunately, they suffered the same fate, and since then there has been no information on the whereabouts of the girls.

Recently, the body of the driver identified as Rubén Salazar was found, which has intensified the search for the minors. Efforts have focused on expanding the search areas, where a rescue dog from the firefighters marked an area of interest, although it is currently inaccessible due to ongoing flooding.

Operations are expected to resume on Wednesday to gain visibility over the marked area and continue the search for the missing sisters.
