During the storm that affected Bahía Blanca, the unfortunate death of 16 people occurred, of which 15 have been identified by the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health. According to authorities, this includes 11 women and five men, with one person whose identity has yet to be determined.

Among the deceased are residents of the nursing homes 'Atardecer', 'Club Sansinena', 'Sarmiento', and 'Abuela Graciana'. The causes of death are varied and include edema and pulmonary congestion, drowning asphyxia, hypoxia, mechanical asphyxia, among others.

The statements mention cases such as that of Nélida Elisei, 78 years old, who died from edema and pulmonary congestion, drowning asphyxia, and suffocation. Also highlighted is the case of Ángel Eduardo Mosman, 55 years old, whose cause of death was pulmonary edema, airway obstruction, and drowning asphyxia.

Among the deceased are elderly individuals such as Margarita Egusquiza, 87 years old, Perla María Re Malena, 99 years old, and Sara Rueda, 101 years old, who were removed from the nursing home 'Sarmiento'. Deaths were also reported from residents of other nursing homes and adults between 46 and 53 years old.

In this tragic scenario, causes of death such as cerebral anoxia, dilated cardiomyopathy, decompensated heart failure, and flooding are evident. Authorities are working to determine the identity of the last deceased and clarify the circumstances of these events.
