The Italian newspaper Il Globo has highlighted the solidarity campaign led by Radio Rivadavia AM 630, which is part of Alpha Media, in support of the victims of the recent floods in Bahía Blanca. According to the report written by Francesca Capelli, the Buenos Aires station reacted quickly after the disaster, opening its facilities at Freire 932, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, to receive donations 24 hours a day.

Jonatan Andreani, artistic and programming director of the radio, shared with the Italian media his emotion as he explained that the initiative arose spontaneously and received immediate backing from Marcelo Figoli, president of Alpha Media, and Silvia Marino, CEO of the media group. Radio Rivadavia has used its social networks to call on the community to donate non-perishable food, water, clothing, footwear, mattresses, and personal hygiene products.

Additionally, the station has implemented a home collection service for those who cannot come in person, with the collaboration of volunteer truck drivers who take the donations to Bahía Blanca. Il Globo highlights the informative work done by Radio Rivadavia, mentioning the dispatch of renowned journalist Nelson Castro to the site to provide immediate and accurate coverage from the ground.

The Italian newspaper emphasizes the organizational capacity and the speed with which solidarity networks form in Argentina during critical situations, demonstrating that citizen collaboration can overcome any obstacle, especially in emergencies that require swift actions. The response to the campaign has been massive, with whole families and children donating toys as a gesture of solidarity in an act that shows the solidarity and empathy of society in the face of adverse situations.
