Bahía Blanca Airport Resumes Operations After Storm

After the storm that impacted the region, Comandante Espora Airport in Bahía Blanca has resumed its regular aerocommercial operations. As a safety measure, the decision was made to cancel all flights and evacuate personnel, but today, operations have returned to normal following the usual protocols.

After conducting a detailed inspection of the runway and airport facilities, it was concluded that conditions are safe to resume commercial flights. It has been ensured that safety in all services offered is safeguarded, ensuring that operational conditions are optimal for the development of aerial activities.

In the process of restoring services, collaboration was received from various competent bodies, such as the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), the concessionaire Bahía Blanca Airport S.A., the Airport Security Police (PSA), the National Meteorological Service, the Argentine Air Navigation Company (EANA), and the Federal Police Firefighters, who joined efforts to ensure safety and continuity of operations.

The closure of the aerodrome the previous day was due to heavy rains that impacted the facilities, which led to the implementation of safety measures to safeguard the integrity of all involved.
