Led by Gustavo Costas, the team will seek to overturn the 0-1 deficit from the first leg in Brazil against Mengao, aiming to secure their spot in the final of the continent's most prestigious tournament, scheduled for Saturday, November 29th, in Lima, Peru. In the other semifinal matchup, Palmeiras and Liga de Quito will face off to determine the second finalist. The Ecuadorian side secured a 3-0 victory in the first leg and are on the brink of reaching the final.
