Fire in warehouse in Avellaneda with no injuries

A fire broke out in a warehouse in Avellaneda. There were no people at the site and no injuries were reported. Firefighters are working to control the incident.


Fire in warehouse in Avellaneda with no injuries

The Municipality of Avellaneda issued an official statement regarding the fire that occurred after 11 PM in a warehouse located at Chacabuco 156, with exit to Belisario Hueyo 159/79. The incident began around 8:20 PM in a warehouse designated for the storage, conditioning, and distribution of stationery, office supplies, commercial goods, and leather goods.

According to the official report, there were no people inside the building when the fire started. All five volunteer firefighter stations from Avellaneda were on site with 25 fire engines to control the flames. So far, there have been no reported injuries. However, some firefighters received assistance for smoke inhalation, but without serious complications.

As a preventive measure, firefighters evacuated Towers 5 and 6, located on Belisario Hueyo Street.
