The president of Independiente, Néstor Grindetti, spoke about the economic situation of the club and the possibility of Gabriel Milito coaching Boca, expressing that he would not view this option negatively, but rather consider it a professional act.
Milito, who at one point expressed his desire to lead Independiente, is now being mentioned to take on the role of technical director at Boca, being one of the names pointed out by the Football Council led by Juan Román Riquelme to replace Fernando Gago.
On the other hand, Grindetti dismissed rumors about the sale of the Chilean midfielder Felipe Loyola to Bayern Munich and referred to the project for the expansion of the Estadio Libertadores de América, pointing out that it will be carried out in stages and that they will resolve the club's inhibitions for the upcoming transfer market.
Regarding the stadium expansion project, Grindetti highlighted its ambition and the need for guarantees before making decisions, assuring that it will take place but that they are not yet ready for an immediate determination.
